The much-anticipated Crazy Rich Asians adaptation hit theaters this week with a wonderful showing for Asian-American representation in a Hollywood backed film. Its bread and butter may be its rom/com trappings, but there's a nice bit of commentary on internal racism and parental pressures as well. See it at Dipson Theatres Amherst, AMC Theatres (both Maple Ridge and the newly opened Market Arcade), Regal Cinemas, and Flix Stadium 10.
